Thesis
The twelve gods of Mount Olympus, otherwise known as The Olympians, ruled the Greek world for many years. The ancient Greeks honored these gods. Even though the gods could be unpredictable, they believed that if the gods were happy, good things would happen to them and if the gods were unhappy, then bad things would happen to them. In order to please the gods, Greeks would build temples in honor of them, and leave offerings, like food and animals, at the enterance of the temple. These twelve gods, ruled and protected every part of the Greek world, from the weather to marriage to animals, they even protected the Underworld.
