aresAres, the son of Zeus and Hera, is descibed as mean and self-centered. Whenever he traveled anywhere he would go with his sidekick, Eris, the spirit of disagreement. They would also carry the spirits of pain, panic, famine and oblivion with them. In Greek myths, Ares didn't care who won or lost a battle; he just enjoyed seeing bloodshed. Most gods tried to stay as far from Ares as possible; he only caused trouble.
